bespoke workshop day

there is a wealth of botanical based processes i can share: learn the basics of ink making, dyeing and printing, through to more advanced in depth processes. make up a small group and either have a day with me in Cardiff, work online or I travel well!
one to one sessions are particularly helpful as a really good introduction or for more specialist techniques.

i work with all kinds of people and communities - amateur enthusiasts to professional designers, nursery up to BTEC/diploma, degree and post graduates; professional courses, team building and teachers CPD. with over 20 years experience of teaching and lecturing on textile, surface pattern, print and general visual art techniques, i'm comfortable teaching in a variety of settings. Colourfield workshop is in central Cardiff.
a day is usually 10.30 - 4pm with nice tea, coffee and cake. i provide all specialist materials and tools, though it's nice to bring your own kit for sewing/drawing if you like and your own special cloth if you have some, though i always have recycled cottons and wools.
